 I've gone and surprised myself and made another mix in fairly quick succession to the last. Quite a flurry! This mix is somewhat inspired by what I imagine was going through Barry Manilow's mind when he was crafting 'Copacabana.' Paqua (Claremont 56) played a storming set at the Three Kings in Clerkenwell last night. Very nice arrangements by Mudd & Co. Reminded me a little of Crosby, Still & Nash in propulsion. Bit of Ottmar Liebert as well.

Mr Renato is a Brazilian musician and this is a track taken from his 1984 LP 'Light & Mystery.'

Night travel. Insistent drums on this one. There's something about it that unsettles my innate Judeo-Christian sensibility. And like a good (lapsed) Catholic, I like it.
